Giving Back to the Mountain Community

We love the outdoor community as much as we love skiing and snowboarding, and we know you do too. That’s why Wasatch Ski Chairs is committed to donating a percentage of profits back to organizations that continue to invest in mountain towns and the people who enjoy them. For each product purchased, we donate to a unique group related to each resort. Learn more about our current partner below.

Wasatch Adaptive Sports

A 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, Wasatch Adaptive Sports (WAS) was established in 1977 to provide affordable recreational and educational opportunities for children, adults and veterans with adaptive needs to share with their support network or family. Recreational opportunities offered through WAS include skiing, snowboarding, hiking, snowshoeing, mountain biking, cycling, indoor cycling, paddle boarding, kayaking, yoga and more.

WAS requires no initial fee and provides full or partial scholarships. Their programs empower students to achieve their unique goals in recreation while maximizing independence and providing access to the physical, mental, and social benefits associated with movement.

WAS seeks to create a community in which people of all abilities experience the power of recreation whenever and wherever they choose.

Park City Community Foundation

Love Park City? We do too. Park City Community Foundation plays a vital role in solving the community’s most challenging problems. As the philanthropic hub of greater Park City, we help people give back to the place they love.

Community foundations like ours exist to make it easy for people to be philanthropists, to help address challenging issues, to support the nonprofits that are tackling those issues, and to build an endowment to help meet changing needs over time.

By constantly identifying gaps and issues within our community, PCCF has a keen understanding of Park City’s most pressing needs. They operate several initiatives and funds that address the issues where we can have a direct and positive impact in the community.
