Reproduction Alta Albion Lift Chair
Replicating an Icon
When Alta decommissioned the original Albion Lift chairs in 2022, they sold like hot cakes and many Altaholics were left wanting.
We loved the unique design of these chairs, so we decided to source an original chair and recreate it from scratch using some fancy 3D scanning tech and computer wizardry. Options include a hanger, seat cushion and custom chair number - more information below.
Have an authentic Albion chair? Our seat cushions will fit! Reach out about purchasing separately.

A Little History
Originally installed in 1962, Alta's fixed-grip Albion Lift was anything but fast - leisurely carrying skiers two-by-two over mellow resort terrain with 153 chairs. It was briefly called "Never Sweat", and was only the third lift to be installed at the resort, nearly 30 years after operations began. On a powder day, time is snow - but if you ask us, the 12 minute ride was an opportunity to soak up Little Cottonwood Canyon's endless beauty.
